Quick answers about installation and configuration.
Does the plugin include CAPTCHA protection?
This plugin provides social sign-in through OAuth. CAPTCHA and login rate limiting are managed by the independent security plugins configured for your site.
Does sign-in work immediately after activation?
First create an OAuth application with Google or Discord and enter its credentials in settings. The provider redirect URL must match the URL shown by the plugin, including the domain and HTTPS.
Can I use just one provider?
Yes. Configure the provider you need and use the button visibility settings to control Google and Discord separately.
Does the plugin bypass member account approval?
The plugin checks Ultimate Member approval status when present and passes the account through WordPress authentication filters before completing sign-in.
What should I configure in page caching?
Use HTTPS and exclude OAuth initiation and provider callback requests from page caching. The callback paths are:
/?action=google-callback/?action=discord-callback
